Essential Job Functions
As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the following tasks:
Development of comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project specifications.
Execution of manual tests on web-based and mobile applications to identify and document defects, issues, and areas for improvement.
Verifying bug fixes and ensuring the quality and functionality of software updates.
Collaboration with product manager and developers to understand project requirements and objectives.
Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
Work proactively to identify potential problems and provide input on risk assessment.
Assist in the verification of new features and product enhancements.
Contribute to process improvements and quality assurance best practices.
Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in manual testing within web environments.
Excellent written and verbal skills in English.
Strong understanding of the software development life cycle.
Proficient in writing and executing test plans and test cases.
Experience with bug tracking and test management tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently.
Experience in Mobile/web Application Automation Testing such as Appium, Selenium– big advantage
Experience in building and running SQL queries - advantage.
This is a Hybrid position in Herzeliya, Isarel.
