Operations Manager [China]


 
POSITION SUMMARY
. Responsible for managing the overall operation, supervision and administration of all assigned slot operations whilst on shift.
. Responsible for enhancing the growth of slot revenues through the development of the customer base.
. Create a positive work environment, encouraging teamwork and cooperation within and between departments.
. Perform all duties in accordance with Star world policies and within the realm of the Galaxy Macau's Mission Statement.
. Responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer service is consistently and professionally maintained.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES
. Present a leadership role that is faithful to the core principle of Star World.
. Ensures compliance with regulatory, departmental and compay policies as well as Macau Gaming Laws.
. Must present a neat, clean and professional appearance at all times.
. Manage team of supervisors and employees in the performance of their duties.
. Motivate employees to exert effort necessary to attain organizational goals.
. Manage effective labor requirements and coverage in all slot areas at all times.
. Verify large slot machine pay outs as per company policy and Macau Gaming Law.
. Ensure all staffs are fully trained and are providing excellent service to our player.
. Directly host guests and get to know our regular player by name.
. Ensure effective communication of customer interactions or feedback within the department
. Ensure highest quality of customer service is consistently and professionally maintained throughout gaming floor.
. Ensures all guest disputes and complaints are handled and resolved professionally, accurately and efficiently.
. Manages preparation and oversee special projects.
. Maintains effective communication between front line staff and Operations Manager.
. Protects all assets of the Slot Department at all times.
. Ensure Marketing personnel are informed and act on all information with regards to identifying new premium slot players.
. Ensure the presentation of the slot area is at optimum level at all times.
. Accurate reporting of incident during a shift.
. Ensure all Marketing and Promotional activity are being adheared to by slot personnel.
. Conducts counseling, coaching and disciplinary procedures of slot personnel in the performance of their duties.
. Liaises with other departments, contractors, suppliers, judiciary police and DICJ to ensure smooth operations.
. Assist Supervisor with Performance Appraisal Reviews.
. Communicates departmental training needs and requirements to top management.
. Conducts training updates to further enhance skills of personnel.
. Performs duties as assigned, always presenting oneself as a credit to Star World and encourages others to do the same.
. Performs other job related duties.

REQUIREMENTS
. Working Experience: Minimum of one year experience in shift management or above in a slot or casino operation, or two years' experience supervising an effective team within a gaming environment or managing a team in a non-gaming environment.
. Educational Level: High School graduate or above. Graduate or Diploma Desired.
. Language Skill: Must be able to speak, write, read and understand English and Chinese.
. Computer Skill: Must be able to operate a computer.
. Age: 21 years and above
