GSK has an outstanding opportunity for a talented individual to join the Global Supply Chain (GSC) HR team as People Data and Analytics Lead. Reporting to the GSC People and Organisational Effectiveness Lead, this is an important global role responsible for the implementation of key projects to deliver our people in support of the 26,000 people who make up our Global Supply Chain organisation.

People Data and Analytics Lead - maternity cover (until March 2025)

This role provides you with a fantastic opportunity to lead a small team to deliver Global Supply Chain key people, data, and analytics (PDA) priorities. Leveraging your data expertise, you will be a key member of the GSC People and Organisational Effectiveness (POE) Leadership Team and work closely with Business leaders through the GSC HR Leadership team to translate workforce strategic priorities into potential advanced analytics opportunities; prioritise business demands and provide insight for the Global People and Organisation Effectiveness COE (Centre of Excellence) to build the best products and solutions for long term success. This includes:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translating business needs into the strong analytical solutions.
  • Providing a solution orientated approach to the HR Global Supply Chain team, building capabilities and insight knowledge for the HR group to self-manage data insights.
  • Delivering the solutions that the business needs in a timely manner where all products are not fully developed.
  • Be the key point of contact for new products and drive the implementation, take up of these across the HR function with the business.
  • Bringing external trends into the GSC HR Leadership team to challenge and provide though leadership around data analytics.
  • Leading the deployment of key enterprise wide listening interventions for GSC including One80 and the GSK Survey.
  • Development and implementation of workforce dashboards to support the delivery of GSC priorities.
  • Work in partnership with the central PDA team to support the pilot of Visier at UK and US sites.
  • Grow HR capability in people data and analytics.
  • Ensuring that all the solutions meet data privacy requirements and are compliant with internal and external regulations.
  • Identifying opportunities to automate routine HR tasks
  • Proposing solutions that would help predict and/or prevent specific outcomes

Why You?

Basic Qualifications:

  • Have a minimum 2 years of experience in a data analytical role.
  • Have a fluent spoken and written command of English language.
  • Have experience with transitions and change management activities.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Have a strong analytical mindset, data-driven approach, ability to understand business insights, metrics, and market, find the space for improvements in cooperation with the Centre of Excellence.
  • Be excellent at time management, planning and organizational skills and have a focus on getting things done.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience of working in supply chain
  • Experience with Workday or other HR systems could be an asset.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office Applications.
  • Higher educational degree.
