We are looking for an Assistant who is agile, well-organized and eager to learn to join our Boost Unit team, based in our headquarter in Brussels, Belgium.


About the role

The successful candidate for this role will act as a partner and anchor to his/her missions Head(s) he/she will be assigned to, providing support to optimize his/her efficiency, developing and applying best practices, and ensuring that quality, efficiency, accuracy and cost awareness are watchwords for this key function. Proactively anticipating the manager’s business needs is essential; as well as possessing a strong desire and enthusiasm to learn and understand the content of the manager and the key issues the team is managing


Who you’ll work with

As a candidate applying for the role of Assistant in the Boost Unit, you'll have the fantastic opportunity to join our dynamic team of 4 assistants, where collaboration and mutual support are paramount. In this role, you'll not only work closely with department managers but also have the chance to interact with assistants from various departments. What you’ll do

  • Manage communication, prioritizes tasks, and schedules appointments for efficient time management.
  • Reviews emails to understand team priorities and the matters they are handling.
  • Proactively schedule regular meetings in advance, securing time slots and locations.
  • Act as a liaison between the manager, staff, and external/internal contacts.
  • Ensure timely responses to information requests and meets deadlines for materials.
  • Organize meetings, logistics, travel, budget, and supports team events and collaboration.


Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills

  • The ideal candidate has a 1st experience and is self-confident and self-aware
  • Fluent written and spoken English, French and/or Dutch being an asset
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word and quickly adapts to new systems
  • Resilient / ability to adapt to change
  • Motivated, reliable and with a positive attitude
  • Proactivity to recognize potential issues and resolve them before they transform into problems
