Seeking Labourer
Job Summary
We are currently seeking a dependable, hardworking individual to join our team as a construction labourer. The ideal candidate will have excellent work ethic and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will report to, and work with the Site super to construct, install, and renovate various types of buildings in the Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional construction fields. Work includes framing, drywall installation, ceilings, wooden stairways, doors and hardware, flooring, cabinets, partitions, concrete, window frames, siding and more.
Candidates with previous experience is an asset but not necessary. We will provide all training and personal protective gear needed to safely work on the job site.
Job Responsibilities
Operate a variety of hand and power tools, including drills, forklifts, and other tools as directed by management.
Clean and prepare construction sites as needed, including erecting scaffolding, removing, and properly disposing of debris and waste materials, and digging trenches.
Shovel materials to and from construction areas, including asphalt and dirt.
Follow all safety procedures on the job site and report violations immediately to management.
Maintain a safe and clean job site by handling materials and storing them properly, picking up and removing all tools and equipment when not in use, and securing the job site daily.
Load and unload construction supplies from trucks both manually and with the use of equipment.
Report incidents immediately to safety director, foreman or HR in accordance with incident reporting procedures established by the company.
Travel/Lodging out of town to work on remote job sites as directed by management.

Job Skills & Qualifications
One or more years of experience in construction
Looking for local labour
Ability to lift heavy equipment/basic knowledge of hand and power tools
Excellent stamina
Able to work effectively with a team and individually
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Valid driver’s license (preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
