We are looking for an Applied Analytics Data Analyst to join our team at Nike European Logistics Campus! We enable the business to make data driven decisions by translating supply chain data from into useful insights, while coaching stakeholders on increasing their analytical capabilities in a constantly evolving business environment. Ideal candidate is a true great teammate with a passion for data, processes, and analysis.
WHAT YOU WORK ONWithin Nike logistics, we are trusted analytics partners for our business teams.
Firstly, you will lead the co-creation process of analytics POC/MVP from inception over mock-up to adaption of the finished product. When MVP’s have proven their worth, you are the first link in the chain to get them industrialized by tech teams.
Secondly, you will provide analysis towards business teams to influence their next steps in projects and strategic priorities.
Lastly, you will be the catalyst for making sure that analytics transitions to become a self-service element in our stakeholders' DNA. You will play a crucial role in prepping them for that transition by elevating their analytical game, by being a guide to 5-6 Business Analysts and taking them on a learning journey on statistics, tools, visual storytelling etc.
WHO YOU WORK WITHYou will work cross-functionally with all levels within the organization, together with business partners from our supply chain functions and distribution centers. You’ll team up with business product management to enable the data that feeds into our analytical products. Furthermore, you will collaborate with other Analysts that will help and support you, to improve the learning experience in a dynamic team environment. Applied Analytics Managers will encourage, mentor, and inspire you to ensure your personal development and growth.
- Proven strength in data structures, data visualization, statistics and process analysis.
- Knowledge of Tableau and/or other visualization tools. (Experience working with- and knowledge of Snowflake and SQL is a plus.)
- “Out of the box” and critical thinking, ability to provide innovative solutions.
- Effective communication in English.
- Speaking up to share your ideas and embrace the opinion of others while being inclusive and guide others
- Passionate about informal leadership
- Knowledge and curiosity about business processes (organizational and logistics).
