Chubb is looking for Database Platform Engineering Professional ( Snowflake/Synapse) with a Bachelor’s Degree to join our Digital Analytics Platform Support team. Responsibilities
Ideal candidate will be a highly skilled platform engineer with deep knowledge of Snowflake ( preferred ) or similar technologies like Synase, Athena, Redshift etc. You are a self-starter who is passionate about Database Technologies, Data Engineering and Analytics. You are adept at providing solutions to challenging data problems by utilizing a variety of different strategies, architectures and design patterns as well as optimizations.
- In depth knowledge of SnowFlake or equivalent Technologies
- Good understanding of Cloud Data & Analytics Platform Technologies and Architecture
- Set and enforce Standards and best practices.
- Work with Infra-Structure Engineering, Security and Vendor teams to ensure compliance
- Automate Project and team onboarding processing using dev/ops tools
- Support Application development teams on issues and requests
- Researching and develop roadmaps for Data Platform capabilities
- Build proof of concepts & prototypes to solve emerging challenges
- Stay current with new data technologies and programming models
- Be self-motivated and creative.
