Warehouse Team Member – Maintenance
Location: Brantford Warehouse
Reports To
Warehouse Team Members report to the Warehouse Manager.
Job Overview
Team member will be responsible for general maintenance and repairs in the warehouse and office areas. When maintenance is not required, the team member will be responsible for the picking and packing of card and accessory orders. They will also assist with the offloading of inventory trucks as required.
Responsibilities and Duties
· General maintenance and repairs as required. (i.e. painting, small building repairs, and seasonal changeover of filters).
· Exterior work as required.
· Picking of orders in a timely and efficient manner.
· Packing of orders on the shipping belt for the shipper – for scanned orders.
· Offloading arriving inventory trucks as required.
· Ensure all corresponding paperwork is filled out and filed correctly.
· Other duties as required.
Qualifications
· 1-3 years’ experience in a general maintenance role.
· Physically fit and able to consistently lift an average of 50lbs.
· Experience with A/C and heating systems is an asset.
· Experience with small plumbing issues is an asset.
· Experience in warehouse work is an asset.
· Able to bend repeatedly and stand for long periods of time.
· Detail-oriented, well organized, and able to adhere to deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
