What you'll do:
- Operate the telephone switchboard to receive incoming, outgoing, and interoffice calls
- Greet visitors and directs to the proper department or persons
- Distribute incoming mail and couriers
- Sorting and Splitting of Bills of Lading
- Indexing Various Documents into Laserfiche
- Complete various administrative tasks, such as daily reports and entering data of training records
- Be actively involved in the organization of office events and activities
- Booking boardrooms for meetings as requested and coordinating catering requirements
- Other duties as required
What we would like from you:
- Post-secondary diploma and two (2) year of related work experience is required
- Experience operating a switchboard
- Must possess excellent telephone and communication skills
- Experience using Microsoft office suite including Outlook, Excel and Word
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize
- Must be detail-oriented and pay close attention to accuracy
- Ability to multi-task, maintain confidentiality, ensure attention to detail and stay organized within a busy work environment
