Be a Helvar Marketeer

Here at Helvar, we are looking for a B2B focused Marketing Manager to join our international team of skilled Marketeers. This role will support the global marketing team in implementing the marketing strategy and operational plans.

With your strategic mindset geared towards business growth, you will spearhead the management and development of our marketing plans and materials to significantly enhance Helvar's brand visibility. Your primary focus will be on propelling our growth aspirations, with a specific emphasis on the UK market and targeted go-to-market programs. Collaborating closely with the sales team, you will construct and execute country-specific marketing plans to ensure a continuous expansion of the Helvar brand, aligning with our overarching growth strategy. By orchestrating marketing campaigns centered around both new and existing offerings, you will drive growth, heighten brand awareness, and generate marketing qualified leads to fuel the sales pipeline.

In this role, you will play a pivotal role in crafting compelling marketing messaging and materials for the launch campaigns of selected new solutions and services, working closely alongside the product management team.


What you’ll do as a Helvar Marketing Manager

  • Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive marketing plans and campaigns, with a particular focus on the UK market and the introduction of new solutions.
  • Generate marketing qualified leads to drive sales team effectiveness.
  • Evaluate the success of marketing initiatives and continually refine strategies and tactics based on performance metrics.
  • Search, develop and identify and engage with target audiences for marketing purposes.
  • Create diverse and engaging marketing content, ranging from communications pieces to blogs and brochures.
  • Coordinate the creation of impactful case studies.
  • Provide the sales team with current marketing materials and brand assets to support their efforts.
  • Generate compelling content, such as blogs, social media posts, corporate announcements, case studies, and thought leadership pieces, to enhance global brand visibility and awareness.
  • Organise and support marketing and sales events, including webinars and trade show participation, while producing relevant collateral and promotional materials.
  • Collaborate with the product management team to create compelling marketing messaging for our new offerings, emphasising the key competitive advantages of Helvar's products, solutions, and services in comparison to competitors.
  • Devise and execute launch strategies and go-to-market plans targeting various stakeholder groups and markets, with the aim of generating demand and fostering market acceptance for Helvar's offerings.
  • Assess the success of launches, gather feedback on our propositions and messaging, and refine the messaging to ensure that the value propositions resonate with customers and partners.
  • Creation of marketing materials specifically tailored to promote our solutions and services.
  • Compose, draft, and edit texts for both external and internal audiences, ensuring the delivery of high-quality communications.
  • Tailoring communications to key audiences via LinkedIn sponsored posts and other personalised approaches
  • Tracking and analysing marketing efforts to evaluate progress and effectiveness in order to optimise future performance

What skills we'd love you to have

  • Highly customer focused, passionate about creating and building value for customers and challenging others when they see initiatives that lack customer focus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English - there is a heavy amount of writing and improving/developing the text drafts/ideas in this role
  • Excellent proof reading and copywriting skills, with experience of completing final review of copy to reflect tone of voice
  • Experience in digital marketing, especially social media in an international environment
  • Adept in basic marketing tools from Adobe to MS Office to Mailchimp
  • Skilled in creating, editing and promoting written and visual content to maximum impact with measured success
  • Genuine interest towards technology, the lighting industry, and systems that support wellbeing and sustainability
  • “Can Do” challenger mentality able to build and shape a start-up mentality, take ownership and move forward with courage and boldness
  • Prefer working in a collaborative, cross-team capacity. The role requires you to work constantly with colleagues in different functions located in different countries and cultures
  • Strong networking and project management skills to build successful working relationships at all levels, leveraging networks to drive change and inspire
  • Effective communicator of ideas, proposals, issues and implications to inspire action
  • Demonstrate success in working proactively and pragmatically with stakeholders to deliver goals within challenging timescales
  • Highly developed personal organisation/time management skills
  • Courageous, ambitious, takes initiative to collaborate, always ready to improve on feedback, and creates customer value in everything they do.
