Job Description
Manpower Planning & Statistics
- Conduct manpower projection and preparation of manpower statistics, for analysis purposes.
- Track, review and evaluate attrition trends.
Recruitment & Retention
- Liaise with hiring managers on recruitment of staff and assists with review of their manpower requirements.
- Source for suitable candidates using the various recruitment channels and continuously explore innovative and alternative avenues to attract the right candidate for the job.
- Conduct interviews for selection of candidates with the aim of getting the right fit for the job.
- Prepare salary proposals and make salary offer taking into consideration the candidate’s educational background, experience, market competitiveness and internal staff equity.
- Conduct new staff briefing programme, including briefing staff on the employment terms as well as benefits entitlement.
- Ensure timely processing of staff confirmation, work pass / contract expiry and/or renewals, retirement, and other types of cessations.
- Conduct exit interviews, highlight staff issues, and recommend solutions for staff retention.
Performance Management
- Provide advice to line managers on management of staff’s performance issues.
- Track career progression of staff.
Compensation & Benefits
- Assist with co-ordination of annual promotion and salary adjustment exercise, including preparation of data for assessment of eligibility criteria and computation of salaries and promotion costs.
- Assist with annual review of staff salaries, including extraction and verification of data.
- Compute bonus payments, special payments and other relevant compensation items based on policy guidelines and staff’s eligibility in accordance with their employment terms.
Employee Relations, Grievance Handling & Disciplinary Issues
- Conduct staff counselling and grievance handling.
- Assist with staff disciplinary issues and inquiries.
Deployment / Transfer of Staff within WH & NHG
- Coordinate transfer and deployment of staff both within WH and NHG and ensures that all documents are provided and HRIS system updated to affect the transfer.
General
- Collate and analyze information required for ad-hoc survey from MOM/MOH/NHG.
- Drive work processes simplification, enhancement and automation to enhance staff productivity.
- Facilitate meeting and perform secretariat duties.
- Involve in ad-hoc projects.
- Perform any other duties / projects as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
- Possess a Degree in Human Resource Management or related discipline
- At least 2 - 5 years of related work experience in similar portfolio
- Prior working experience in healthcare setting will be an advantage
- Proficient in MS Office and HR modules of Sucess Factor
- Meticulous team player, good communicator and deadline sensitive
- Able to cope with a fast pace working environment dealing with large work volume
- Strong interpersonal skills that enables communication with staff from different levels
