What's the job?

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Administrator to join our Wellington Water Team. You will be supporting the administration manager in all aspects of the role by providing efficient administrative and office services and coordinating administrative functions related to business operations, on a part-time basis.

Some key responsibilities will include

Office Administration tasks such as:

  • Assisting with personnel files and compiling induction packs including PPE
  • Ording office supplies and assisting with meeting organisation
  • Processing timesheets, leave forms and updating the leave calendar
  • Entering employee data into business systems
  • Managing training initiatives
  • Providing general admin support to management and more

Financial Administration tasks such as:

  • Invoicing contract jobs
  • Preparing information for reporting
  • Ensuring plant, labour, stock and purchase orders are reflected against jobs
  • Managing claim queries
  • Reviewing all contract job costings and more.

As the ideal candidate you will..

  • Have completed NCEA Level 2 or School Certificate equivalent
  • Have at least 2 years office administration experience
  • Have a high degree of accuracy, timeliness and attention to detail
  • Be confident using computers and computer programs
  • Have a high standard of oral communication and interpersonal skills

If your administration experience is within a compliance related industry this will be highly advantageous! A tertiary level qualification in office management or a related administration qualification is desirable, but not essential.
