About the Role

As the Inside Sales Representative, you will be collaborating with the Regional Sales Managers to support the sales channel and execute a focused sales strategy within the assigned territory.


What You Will Do

  • Represent the Martin by HARMAN brand as liaison for Sales and administration activities related to product availability, quotation/perform invoices, order processing, product shipment, account status, and after-sale follow-up.
  • Support the RSMs' efforts in accounts that have potential and would benefit from increased Harman touches.
  • Solely manage a designated list of accounts.
  • Conduct outbound calls, opportunity identification/development, and final sales through direct relationships with small-to-medium level accounts.
  • Proactively resolve outstanding customer issues to ensure brand loyalty.
  • Work closely with sales teams and technical resources to achieve sales, margin, and assigned profit goals.
  • Manage inbound inquiries for sales-related topics.
  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reporting support for the region on sales activities, pipeline, revenue vs. target, etc. as needed.
  • Support the Sales team by following up with customers on various items, updating CRM system with all sales activities, including managing the pipeline through a defined sales process.

What You Need

  • Minimum 3 years of Inside Sales or Customer Service Experience
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Superior follow-up and attention to detail skills
  • Strong ability in problem resolution, team building, and dealing with ambiguity.

What is Nice to Have

  • Experience using a CRM system.
  • Experience in the Entertainment, lighting, or Production industries
  • Knowledge of current theatrical lighting technology.

What Makes You Eligible

  • Be willing to travel up to 10%, domestic and national travel.
  • Be willing to work in an office in Northridge, CA.
  • Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment

What We Offer

  • HARMAN has different base pay ranges based on geography and work location within the US. The base pay range for this role is $61,200 - $74,800 plus applicable bonus, based on California work location. In addition to the work location, an individual's base pay depends upon different factors, such as the job scope and impact and relevant skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
