Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of relevant work experience, including development, testing and deployment for Android Board Support Packages (BSP), Linux device drivers, Linux kernel modules, or Free RTOS drivers/modules.
- 7 years of software development experience in developing in C/C++.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical related field.
- 5 years of experience leading software system development.
- Knowledge in device driver/HAL development, Linux/Android system optimization, power/thermal management, and performance optimization.
- Excellent technical documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to speak and write in Mandarin and English fluenty.

Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers to architecture, design and implement the system software stack for Google wearable/smart watch devices.
- Lead software project development from architecture, scoping, to landing.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain the drivers, HALs, and frameworks for the software features on Google WearOS devices.
- Seek opportunities to optimize and improve system quality, including system stability, power consumption, and system performance.
