The Business Development and Partnerships teams at Shopee are dynamic and energetic. The teams are always looking to acquire business opportunities to drive Shopee to be the No. 1 e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee’s buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.
Job Description:
- Identify growth and profitability levers of financial products in order to achieve Objective Key Results (OKR)
- Monitor the product performance
- Conduct regular competitive intelligence towards industry, direct competitors, and indirect competitors
- Manage daily and weekly operations (BAU) of the financial products, including report generation and analysis
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver the project objectives within predetermined timeline
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor Degree from any major
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in business development, partnerships, or project management
- Previous experience in financial industry (banking, insurance, investment, peer-to-peer lending) or e-commerce
- Relevant experience in project management such as growth, profitability improvement, operations excellence, and new product development
- Strong analytical skills and critical thinking - able to breakdown problem statements into sub-tasks and actionable items
- Good verbal and written communication - including good powerpoint and excel skills
- Be able to work both as individual contributor as well as team players
- Willing to work on-site
