The Indicata Division in Autorola develops and offers tools for OEMs, leasing, rental, dealer groups and insurance industries providing a wide range of products and services ranging from residual value forecasting, vehicle appraisal, inventory management, market information, dealer group reporting and sales lead generation.

As the new Head of Indicata, Denmark you will develop an effective business plan to exploit the market opportunities and build and lead a structured sales organization to prospect and grow business across Denmark in the automotive sector.

You will work closely with other business units in Autorola to co-ordinate and deliver integrated solutions to major customers and create synergies by cross offerings together with Autorola Solutions (fleet monitor system) and Marketplace (car auction platform).

You will be joining a highly dedicated organization, where the common core responsibility is data analytics, product development of Indicata and consultancy for the customers.

Your core responsibilities and tasks:

  • To develop and lead a structured sales organization to prospect and grow business across Denmark.
  • To build an effective business plan to plot and exploit the market opportunities for the new Indicata Operations, and in addition, identify the further manpower needed to deliver on this plan.
  • To proactively lead all sales engagements with key prospects and accounts in the automotive sector (Leasing Companies / Rental Companies / OEM’s / Major dealer Groups) including:
    • Prospecting/Networking.
    • Initial contact and requirement gathering.
    • Developing and presenting solutions.
    • Initial costs and pricing proposal.
    • Project Managing through development and implementation phases.
    • Ensure coordination and delivery between customers, local team and HQ.
  • Work closely with other business units to coordinate and deliver integrated solutions, where opportunities exist:
    • Identification of key “sweet spot” opportunities for Indicata, Solutions and Marketplace.
  • To maintain on-going client relationships and identify and complete further closed won opportunities.
  • Ensure that contract structure, renewals, billing, and cash collection are effectively managed.

Personal and professional qualifications
Your background can be various, but to succeed in this role, we imagine you have the following qualifications:

  • Understanding of used car valuations – ideally RV forecasting.
  • Familiarity with how Dealer Groups, OEM’s, Lease Cos, Rental and OEM banks operate and use valuations and forecast data.
  • Broad understanding of automotive used car data and residual value across a number of sectors (Retail, OEM, Leasing, Bank, Insurance etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to qualify customer needs:
    • What is the customer’s overall business objectives?
    • What data sets is the client looking for?
    • How should this be presented or delivered?
  • Proven ability to close complex sales opportunities into delivered revenue engaging at C / Director level.
  • Good understanding of data and the ability to articulate how data can be manipulated through a range of tools.
  • Proven customer engagement skills:
    • Capturing customer requirements.
    • Developing proposals.
    • Presenting complex concepts.
    • Proven project management skills.
    • Account management and upselling.
  • Sales team leadership experience will be considered an advantage.
  • Creative and out of the box thinking.
  • Able to work under pressure and effectively manage conflicting priorities.
  • English both spoken and written at a high professional level.
