Financial Analysis and Planning Supervising Associate

The opportunity
As Supervising Associate – Finance at EY Global Delivery Services (GDS), Poland, you will combine our financial objectives with your Financial Planning & Analysis (PBFA) and leadership experience to provide an effective and robust finance function.
You will actively involve yourself in the development and execution of strategic planning for finance-related matters. You will become part of a high-performing team, giving motivation, direction and helping people build their skills.
Your key responsibilities
- Manage planning, forecasting, and reporting of financial results and performance of Service Lines/Service Functions.
- Candidates must be leaders with excellent analytical and modeling skills including the ability to develop detailed financial plans and forecasts, analyze complex data and provide analyses of financial performance.
- Taking care of monthly, quarterly, and annual P&L Budget vs Actual analysis and reporting.
- Reviews Balance Sheet Analysis & Reconciliation.
- Business-wise headcount analysis
- Work closely with various Service functions / Service lines of the organization to ensure that the plan/forecast is coherent and incorporates the directions and expectations of the management.
- Help people to develop through effectively supervising, coaching, and mentoring all levels of staff
- Contribute to performance feedback for all levels of staff
Skills and attributes for success
- In-depth experience, 7-10+ years in a similar role preferably in the corporate Finance function of Shared Services.
- Professional Certifications e.g. CPA, CMA, CAT, Six Sigma.
- Working skills and knowledge of financial modules of ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle Financials, etc).
- MS Office Skills i.e. strong Excel Knowledge.
- A highly analytic and keen sense of details and data accuracy.
- Knowledgeable in different financial reports like financial statements, general ledger, and financial planning.
- Accounting knowledge, Analytical skills
- Experience in leading process improvements and automation.
