We are a busy and successful locally managing a superette based in Rotorua, New Zealand. We pride ourselves in providing excellent customer service and delicious offerings to our customers. We are looking for 2 (positions) Checkout operator and Grocery Assistant to join our wonderful team.
Role type: Full-time permanent with a minimum of 30 hours per week
Remuneration: 29.70 NZD per hour
What we are looking for:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Genuinely enjoy working with people in a retail environment
- Should be able to work under pressure
- Should be a team player with a can-do attitude
- We want them physically fit as they will be lifting small and heavy boxes, standing at the checkout, walk through the store, filling the shelves from time to time
- Should have knowledge of computer
- Able to learn to operate a register/handle cash/electronic payment
- Be able to comply with our health and safety and our food safety programmes
- Applicant must be able to work during the evenings/weekends when needed
