We seek an individual who is passionate about the care industry and has a clinical background. Someone who can join our established team, re-evaluate our current systems and processes and offer advice to improve the overall service and performance of the company.
We have Registered Home Managers in place for all three homes on site, CQC overall good rating and low agency usage, operating from a purpose-built facility. You will oversee the operations of each house and report directly to the Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities:
Occupancy & Commissioning
1. Support and advice on improving and maintaining occupancy levels.
2. Evaluate current pathways and offer suggestions on current processes.
3. Be the lead on setting up new potential pathways, for example, Mental Health, Challenging Behaviour, Neuro Rehabilitation or Supported Living. To be evaluated.
Dependency Tool
1. Review the current system and either adapt or implement the new system.
2. Regularly ensure residents' needs are being routinely reviewed.
3. Establish weekly staffing numbers and monitor them in the form of a labour report.
Compliance
1. Implement a robust reporting system; covering all key events/status/outcomes/lessons learnt / failings or successes.
2. Identify any trends and assist in putting preventive measures in place.
3. Oversee handling any concerns raised, i.e., Safeguarding's / Complaints / CQC Concerns – including the investigation work and draft response.
4. Review and monitor - Action Plans.
5. Carry out Quarterly Compliance Reviews – Report Findings, Status and Score. Work with Home Managers putting any necessary corrective measures in place as above.
Staffing
1. Troubleshoot existing induction programs, supervisions/appraisals and exit interviews to maintain low staff turnover.
2. Maintain low agency usage and develop a strategy for covering annual leave and sickness cover.
